At A2B Power, we receive commission from the energy suppliers we work with when we help connect businesses to their gas and electricity services.

This commission is paid directly by the supplier, so there is no charge to you for using our service.

The commission supports everything we do, including helping you find competitive tariffs, comparing quotes, providing account support, managing the switching process, processing contracts and offering ongoing customer service. This allows us to continue delivering these services while securing competitive business energy deals for our clients.

By using A2B Power, you agree that we may receive commission from the supplier in the form of an uplift added to your agreed unit rate.

This uplift is built into your total energy cost and typically falls below 1.2 pence per kilowatt hour (kWh). For example, if a supplier offers a rate of 20 pence per kWh, we may include an uplift of 0.5 pence, making your final contracted rate 20.5 pence per kWh. The total commission we receive is calculated based on your estimated future energy usage over the length of your contract. The percentage this represents is usually around 2.5 percent of the total retail value. In some cases, particularly with new meter installations, the supplier may pay a fixed amount instead.

How We Get Paid – Business Water

We also receive commission from our business water partner when we introduce customers to their services.

This commission is included in your water retail service fee through a small uplift over the term of your agreement. It is built into the final water cost you agree to, so there are no direct payments made to A2B Power.

This allows us to cover the costs of our quoting, onboarding and support services while continuing to help businesses secure competitive water rates.
